Almeria earns wild stoppage-time win over Real Sociedad

ALMERIA, Spain (AP) -- Almeria's stoppage-time winner secured a wild 4-3 victory against Real Sociedad on Monday to dampen the visitors' hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
Hicham Khaloua's netted in injury time as Almeria improved its hopes of avoiding the drop in a match highlighted by contentious refereeing decisions, including three penalties.
Carlos Vela's opener from the spot was canceled out by Oscar Diaz before Real went ahead again in the 58th minute through Imanol Agirretxe.
Jose Antonio Garcia scored a pair of disputed penalties in a five-minute span to put Almeria ahead again after 71 minutes.
Markel Bergara appeared to salvage a point for Sociedad when he equalized in the 85th, but the visitors slipped nine points behind fourth-place Athletic Bilbao after defender Alberto De la Bella's clearance deflected off Khaloua into the net to decide the game.
