Algeria captain Anther Yahia has recovered from a left ankle injury and is fit for the team's World Cup opener against Slovenia on Sunday.

The 28-year-old defender says he has ``no problems at all anymore.''

Yahia got hurt and left Friday's practice session early after colliding with substitute goalkeeper M'bohi Rais Ouhed.

Algeria coach Rabah Saadane gave Yahia the captain's armband after dropping out-of-form midfielder Yazid Mansouri - the teams most experienced player - earlier this week.
