Agent hopes Swans let Rangel leave

The Spaniard has been the subject of a failed bid from Blackpool, but talks are continuing regarding a potential deal. Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has hinted the club would be prepared to sell for the right price after previously rejecting offers from Fulham in the January transfer window. Rangel appears keen on a move to Blackpool and his representative Xavi Cruz is calling on Swansea to agree a deal which will allow the 27-year-old to go to the top flight. "It is the chance for Angel to fulfil his dream, which is to play in the Premier League," Cruz told the Evening Post. "Angel wants to be in the Premier League as soon as possible. "We have been talking with the chairman during the last week and he understands the situation because this is not the first time that Angel has had the chance to play in the Premier League. "We don't think about this option (not moving) because we trust the chairman, and he said he would do the best for the club and the player. To play in the Premier League is the dream of Angel's life."
