A Juventus fan faked sick so he could watch a sold-out game from an overlooking hospital

A die-hard Juventus fan tried to convince hospital staff that he was ill -- just so he could watch his beloved Bianconeri play.

Crotone's Ezio Scida stadium is overlooked by the San Giovanni di Dio hospital, and it's become a popular place for people to try and catch an unobstructed view of the action.

Officials at the hospital, which offers a view of the pitch from its upper floors, operated on a patients-only policy for Wednesday's Serie A match against Juventus. They've had issues with supporters inviting relatives or friends into the hospital in order to watch the game from its windows, and they moved to squash this before the champs came into town.

That didn't stop one Juve supporter, though, and the man, from Reggio Calabria in southern Italy, reportedly tried to get himself hospitalized at the medical facility so that he could watch Juventus take on Crotone from the window.

According to Italy’s Reggio Informa, unfortunately, he wasn't as slick as he thought, and he got found out. This clearly wasn't the hospital's first rodeo, and he was hustled out. Good job, good effort though, bud.
