Mattie Magill had never met her bone marrow donor.
But, while being honored by The Home Run for Life program, a partnership between the Dayton Dragons and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, for her battle with lymphoblastic leukemia Mattie got the surprise of a lifetime.
After hitting her home run, and crossing home plate Mattie was greeted by Kathleen Czel, who had traveled from Connecticut to Ohio for the ceremony, and was Mattie's bone marrow donor.
