Wolves' Love sidelined with flu-like symptoms

LOS ANGELES – Timberwolves forward Kevin Love will not play in Wednesday night's game against the Lakers due to flu-like symptoms.
Love, who's averaging 24.5 points and 13.8 rebounds this season, is coming off a stretch of less-impressive games. He scored just 10 points and had seven rebounds on Tuesday against the Clippers, and in the last game before the All-Star break on Feb. 22, he had just 10 points and 10 rebounds.
This will be just the third game this season that Love has missed, after sitting out two in January for a suspension. He missed the fourth quarter of Tuesday's 109-97 win after suffering a rib contusion, which is unrelated to his illness Wednesday.
With Love out, forward Derrick Williams will most likely see increased playing time. Williams shot 90 percent from the field on Tuesday and scored 27 points in the best performance of his rookie career.
