Wolves, Bucks to play preseason game in Iowa

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Timberwolves are heading back to Iowa.
Minnesota will take on the Milwaukee Bucks in a preseason game on Friday, Oct. 17 at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, marking the team's first visit to the 128,000-person town since 2002. The Timberwolves have made two other appearances in the Hawkeye State.
"We're looking forward to an incredible event in Cedar Rapids this October," Timberwolves president Chris Wright said in a release. "This off-site game is a great opportunity to connect with our phenomenal fans and partners in Iowa and bring the excitement of NBA basketball right to their front door."
The game will start at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday and will be available through the U.S. Cellular Center Box Office or via Ticketmaster.
