Here are some notes, tidbits and stats heading for Saturday's game between the Wisconsin Badgers and Northwestern Wildcats:

-- This is the 97th meeting between Wisconsin and Northwestern. The Badgers lead the all-time series 57-34-5, including 26-14-2 in Madison.

-- This is the first time Wisconsin and Northwestern have played in which both teams were ranked since 1995.

-- Under Paul Chryst this season, Wisconsin is 6-1 when scoring first, 2-1 when the opponent scores first, 6-1 when leading after the first quarter, 1-1 when trailing after the first quarter, 6-0 when leading at halftime, 1-2 when trailing at halftime, 7-0 when leading after the third quarter and 1-2 when trailing after the third quarter.
