Wisconsin-Milwaukee holds off Valparaiso 70-63

Anthony Hill had 24 points and 11 rebounds to help Wisconsin-Milwaukee hold off Valparaiso 70-63 Saturday night in the Horizon League tournament semifinals.
Wisconsin-Milwaukee (19-12), the top seed in the tournament, will host Butler Tuesday night in the championship game for the automatic NCAA berth.
Kaylon Williams had 16 points and Tony Meier added 15 for the Panthers, who were 24 for 36 from the free-throw line compared to 5 for 9 for Valparaiso.
Brandon Wood led Valparaiso (23-11) with 24 points. Cory Johnson had 14 points before fouling out with 4:05 remaining for the fourth-seeded Crusaders.
Valparaiso came within 64-60 with 2:05 to play, but Meier made two free throws to return the margin to six. Tone Boyle made a free throw and Williams made three in the final minute to seal the win.
