MADISON -- The 13th-ranked Wisconsin men's hockey squad got all it could handle from visiting Alaska-Anchorage all weekend. On Saturday, however, the Badgers held on for a narrow, 4-3 victory over the Seawolves.

Wisconsin (11-6-1) seized an early, 2-1 lead Saturday night, after Tyler Barnes lit the lamp in the final seconds of the opening period.

A flurry of second-period scoring ensued, however, leaving the game knotted at 3-all heading into the final 20 minutes. Barely six minutes into the third period Wisconsin inched ahead, 4-3, when Jake McCabe was credited with his second goal of the night off a deflection.

The visiting Seawolves are now 9-9-2 on the season.
