Win costly for Cavaliers as Love, Shumpert leave game with injuries

Kevin Love left the floor during the fourth quarter Sunday with "lower back issues" and was ruled out of the rest of the game. He did not return in Cleveland's 87-86 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Quicken Loans Arena.
According to the team, Love took an elbow to the back and the team "didn't want to push it". The Cavaliers called timeout and Love walked directly to the locker room. He finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds in 30 minutes.
In the first half, Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert injured an ankle on a dunk attempt and did not return. He finished the game with 9 points and 3 steals. David Blatt said after the game that Shumpert "jammed" his ankle and wanted to return, but was held out for precautionary reasons.
Blatt was hopeful that both will be fine.
Love received treatment on the back and said after the game that he felt good.
"We'll take these next couple of days, so it's kind of fortunate that we have these next couple of days," Love said.
The Cavaliers next play the Miami Heat on Thursday in Cleveland.
