Wild to host fan appreciation day

The Minnesota Wild will host a Wild Wednesday fan appreciation day this week, culminating with a free scrimmage at Xcel Energy Center that will be televised live at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports North. The broadcast for the Red and White Intrasquad Game will begin with "Wild Live" pregame at 6:30 and be immediately followed by "Wild Live" postgame.

In addition, FOX Sports North will air "Becoming Wild: Episode 1" at 6 p.m. and Episodes 1 and 2 at 10 and 10:30 p.m.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the Wild Wednesday scrimmage, and a free ticket will be required to enter. Season ticketholders can print their tickets from their online account, and all other fans can print a free ticket via Ticketmaster.com.

In addition, all fans will receive a $10 concession voucher upon entry (not valid for alcoholic beverages), and autographed jerseys will be given away throughout the night. All Hockey Lodge locations will also hold a 50 percent off sale all day Wednesday.

Single-game regular-season tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Xcel Energy Center box office, and online ticket sales will commence at noon. The Wild home opener will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday against the Colorado Avalanche. All fans in attendance will find a Wild T-shirt on their seat, courtesy of the Wild and FOX Sports North.
