ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Wild added to their stable of young prospects Thursday by signing 2012 second-round pick Raphael Bussieres to an entry-level contract.

Bussieres, the No. 46 overall pick in last year's draft, had 29 goals and 39 assists with a plus-27 rating in 60 games for Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League this season. A 6-foot-1, 197-pound forward, he was the QMJHL's No. 2 star in November when he had 10 goals and 13 assists in 13 games.

Bussieres has added four goals and 12 assists in 18 playoff games for Baie-Comeau, which trails Halifax, 3-1, in the championship series.

"We're very pleased to have Raphael under contract," Wild assistant general manager Brent Flahr said. "He's had a very good year on a quality team in Baie-Comeau that is competing for the QMJHL Championship. We look forward to seeing him in training camp."
