One day after sending two prospects to New Jersey in exchange for Viktor Loov, the Minnesota Wild recalled the 25-year-old from Iowa of the AHL on Friday.
Loov has two points on his resume in four career NHL games, all with the Maple Leafs in 2015-16. This season, the 25-year-old has tallied 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists) in 36 games with New Jersey’s AHL affiliate Binghamton.
The Wild continue a five-game homestand Saturday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.
