ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild announced today that it has recalled goalie Matt Hackett from Houston of the American Hockey League.
Hackett, 22, is 3-5-0 with a 2.30 goals-against-average in 11 games with the Wild this season. The 6-foot-2, 179-pound native of London, Ont., is 17-13-4 with a 2.41 GAA in 35 games with the Houston Aeros this season.
Hackett, a third-round pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, wears sweater No. 31 for the Wild.
