Wild recall Falk, send Folin to Iowa

The Minnesota Wild made a pair of personnel moves, recalling Justin Falk from the Iowa Wild and reassigning Christian Folin to the AHL-affiliate club.
General manager Chuck Fletcher announced the roster changes Friday.
Falk, a 26-year-old defenseman, had one assist and 22 PIM in 12 games with Iowa this season. He also appeared in two games with Minnesota. The 6-foot-5, 222-pounder from Snowflake, Manitoba, has 17 points and 120 penalty minutes in 131 career NHL games with the Wild and the New York Rangers. Falk, a fourth-round draft pick in 2007, was signed as a free agent by the Wild in early August.
Heading down to Iowa is Folin, a 23-year-old defenseman who appeared in eight games with Minnesota and averaged 14:10 in TOI/game. He's a 6-foot-3, 214-pound native of Gothenburg, Sweden, who recorded an assist in his NHL debut last April against St. Louis. He's totaled one assist and seven PIM in nine NHL games.
