WIAA Division 6: St. Mary's Springs surges past Darlington

Tradition-rich Fond du Lac St. Mary's Springs used a strong second half to top Darlington, 39-20, in Thursday's WIAA Division 6 state championship game, at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.

The victorious Ledgers registered 430 total rushing yards, with Clay Schueffner leading the way with 233 yards and a pair of scores. St. Mary's Springs (12-2) also got 184 rushing yards and three touchdowns frmo Fintan Floyd.

Darlington, which ended its memorable season at 13-1 overall, was led by Hunter Johnson's 119 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
