Auburn, Ala. -- Year two of the Gene Chizik era got off to a solid start Saturday night at Jordan-Hare Stadium as the Auburn Tigers defeated Arkansas State 52-26 behind a huge night from first-time starter Cameron Newton. While the win was a comfortable one for the Tigers there is little time to enjoy it as a road trip to Mississippi State Thursday night makes it a short work week before the first SEC contest.
