Worst attempt at trying to fool the refs into a first down: Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys. This could easily be considered the best attempt to fool the refs, too. Either way it is great. Watch closely. Ohhhh, that tricky Romo! (It didn't work.)
Worst time to take off your helmet: Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys. Dez wasn't happy about being called for pass interference in the fourth quarter. He was so angry that he took off his helmet to yell at the ref. Well, you're not allowed to do that. It's an automatic 15-yard flag. That pushed the Cowboys out of field-goal range, too. Jared Allen's reaction is pretty great:
Best touchdown pass by a QB who had 7 TD passes ... before the fourth quarter: Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles. Foles tied an NFL record with 7 TDs and probably could have broken the record if he didn't get pulled midway through the fourth. This 63-yard strike was ... perfect.
Best touchdown pass by a running back: Mike James, Tampa Bay Buccaneer. Well, it wasn't pretty, but it worked. And that's all that matters. The Buccaneers, however, ended up blowing a 21-point lead because they are the Buccaneers.
Best catch that was made into a mesmerizing GIF: Robert Meachem, New Orleans Saints. Life got you stressed out? Think stuff is too hard to accomplish? Feel like it's never going to work out for you? Here, take a break and watch this:
Best job of hitting a ref in the head with a pass: Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys. Romo scrambled and scrambled and scrambled late against the Vikings and when he ran out of options he did what anyone would do - he threw the ball at the ref's head.
Worst pass by a QB named Robert Griffin III: Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskins. RG3 got off to a slow start Sunday and heard some boos from the home crowd. This INT in his own end zone didn't help things:
Best touchdown run while carrying 48 people on your back: Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings. We're used to seeing great runs by Peterson. But this TD late in the fourth against the Cowboys was something else.
Best moment that reminded us that we're glad we're not an NFL QB: This play with Christian Ponder. Fumbling in your end zone probably doesn't feel good. But that's not what we're focused on here. Nope, we're talking about what happened to Ponder just moments after he fumbled the ball.
Best touchdown run by a QB: Geno Smith, New York Jets. Poor Cameron Jordan actually thought he had a chance to take down Smith. Then he had his ankles broken by the QB (he didn't really have his ankles broken, but you get what we're saying).
Worst call by a ref who actually has the ability to see things: This pass interference call in the Chargers-Redskins game. Chargers WR Keenan Allen was whistled for pass interference on this play, which is weird because he never touched the DB. Maybe too many fakes?
Best job of pretending to eat food after making a big play (TIE): Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers and Jared Cook, St. Louis Rams. So is pretending to eat something the new thing to do? Is that what's going on? Because we're confused.
Most subdued celebration ever to take place in Jerry Jones' luxury box: Jerry Jones and his crew. Something tells us Jones and the folks in his box thought the Cowboys still might be in trouble after taking the lead with just 35 seconds left:

Dumbest taunting call: This one in Cleveland. Look, we get it. The NFL hates it when a player taunts another player. But is this move by Cleveland's Greg Little is really a 15-yard penalty? Really? Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllly?
Worst possible outcome for a team threatening to take a 14-point lead against the league's only unbeaten team: Buffalo Bills. Jeff Tuel appeared to have the Bills on the verge of taking a two-touchdown lead on the Chiefs. Then this happened (and then the Bills fell apart and lost):
Best job of scrambling out of trouble and making something happen: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers. Carolina has won four games in a row and is quickly becoming a scary team because of plays like this:
Best impromptu piggyback: Alec Ogletree and Cortland Finnegan, St. Louis Rams. Well, this happened Sunday:
Best job of pretending to fish after sacking Tony Romo: Brian Robison, Minnesota Vikings. It looks like Robison caught a big one down in Dallas:
