CLEVELAND -- Wednesday's Indians-Angels game has been postponed. No makeup date has been officially announced but there will not be a doubleheader on Thursday.

The pitching matchup will remain Justin Masterson (4-5, 5.05) against C.J. Wilson (7-6, 3.50). That would make Zach McAllister (Friday), Corey Kluber (Saturday) and Trevor Bauer (Sunday) as the probable pitchers for the weekend series against Detroit.

There are three possible makeup dates -- July 28, Aug. 14 or Sept. 8. Those are when both teams have off days but also when the Angels are headed back either en route to road games on the Eastern or Central time zones.

This is the fourth postponement for the Indians this season and the second for a home game. The April 1 game at Oakland and April 7 contest against San Diego were made up as doubleheaders in the same series while the April 15 postponement at Detroit will be made up as a day/night doubleheader on July 19.
