The NASCAR fan base is one of the most loyal and passionate group of fans in all of sports, and that is evident on social media. Following nearly every NASCAR race, Facebook and Twitter explode with comments and opinions from fans of nearly every driver and team.

This week's hot topic was obviously the controversial finish at Richmond, and ensuing penalties that were dished out to Michael Waltrip Racing on Monday evening.
