Wayzata nips Roseau in OT

In a game that featured some big hits and back-and-forth action, No. 4 Wayzata needed overtime to knock off a feisty Roseau team 2-1 Saturday in the first Hockey Day Minnesota game in Moorhead.
Trojans senior defenseman Mark Richards netted the winner in the overtime period. Wayzata won a face-off in its offensive zone after a penalty on the Rams. Richards sent a wrist shot on net that beat goalie Jared Strand
