We all know sports fandom can have its ups and downs, and our own Thom Brennaman was reminded of that Tuesday night when he had to pay up on a bet with colleague Jeff Piecoro as a result of the University of Kentucky's 20-3 win over Ohio University on Saturday.
Piecoro, a former Wildcat football player, gave Brennaman, a proud OU graduate, 14.5 points, but the Bobcats did not come through for Thom.
