The only person in the house at PNC Arena in North Carolina more elated than Grosenick himself was his father, who literally jumped for joy in the stands. Watch the moving scene in the video above.
"It doesn't matter how long you've been in the league, you get excited to see young players come in and do well," said Sharks center Joe Thornton. "You get excited yourself. It was nice to get the win."
