The people of "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" ask a fair question that others have wondered since the dawn of easily accessible images and video of a certain kind on the Internet.

I suppose one short answer to how the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue is still a thing is the same reason printed newspapers are still a thing — with the advantage of more cleavage.
