TAMPA, Fla. -- The status of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' top two pass-catching threats is unknown for Sunday.
Wide receivers Vincent Jackson (ribs) and Mike Williams (hamstring) did not practice Thursday for the second consecutive day. The development came a day after the Bucs announced a quarterback change from fifth-year player Josh Freeman to rookie Mike Glennon.
"They were here," Bucs coach Greg Schiano said of the receivers. "They did not practice, though."
When Schiano was asked whether either were in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, the coach was vague.
"Anytime you're not practicing, you're in danger, sure," he said. "We'll see."
Williams didn't seem concerned, though. When asked whether he would play Sunday, he said he was "100 percent" confident he would be on the field.
"I'm playing Sunday," Williams said. "I'll be there Sunday."
Jackson leads the Bucs with 15 catches for 265 yards. Williams is second on the team with 11 catches for 126 yards and one touchdown.
