EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings signed linebacker Stanford Keglar on Wednesday, prior to the second day of organized team activities.

Keglar, 27, has been out of the league the past two seasons after being a fourth-round draft choice by the Tennessee Titans in 2008. Keglar played 35 games in three seasons and has 22 career tackles. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound Keglar played two seasons with Tennessee before being cut. He was picked up by the Houston Texans and played one season in 2010 before being released in the preseason of the 2011 season.

Keglar adds to the competition at linebacker as Minnesota searches for one starter along with Chad Greenway and Erin Henderson. The signing brings the Vikings to the 90-man offseason roster limit.
