Vikings set 2013 training camp dates

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings clearly enjoy their long stays in Mankato, Minn.
For the second straight year, Minnesota will have a three-week long training camp at Minnesota State University. Players will be reporting on Thursday, July 25 with the Vikings' first team practice on Friday, July 26. Minnesota will break camp on Thursday, Aug. 15, a day before its second preseason game at Buffalo.
This year will mark the 48th straight training camp for the team in Mankato. The team's annual evening practice is scheduled for Aug. 3 at Blakeslee Stadium on the campus.
The Vikings opened organized team activities on Tuesday at the team's Winter Park facilities in Eden Prairie.
