Vikings now know their 2013 opponents

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings' second-place finish in the NFC North has set their opponents for 2013.
While Minnesota is focusing in on familiar NFC North rival Green Bay for Saturday's playoff matchup, next year's games beyond the division have been released, with the Vikings facing the NFC East and AFC North as part of the rotating intraconference and interconference schedule. Minnesota will also face the second-place teams from the NFC South and NFC West because of its second-place finish in the North.
The Vikings will host the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers next season. Pittsburgh will be Minnesota's opponent in its 2013 game in London, with the Vikings slated as the home team.
Minnesota will go on the road to face Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.
The final schedule with dates and times will be released in the spring.
