Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Grant Balfour paid tribute to his father David, who has been battling cancer for four years, during the pitcher's trip to Australia for the MLB Ambassador Tour.

Family, friends and fans gathered at the Blacktown International Sportspark, home of the Sydney Blue Sox, to join Balfour in honoring his father.
