Following nominations by both Stanley of the Florida Panthers and Billy of the Miami Marlins, the Miami Heat's Burnie joined his fellow Floridian mascots and accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Burnie began his challenge video by nominating others in the Heat family. Nominations included the Heat's Head coach-- Eric Spoelstra, the Heat's official DJ-- DJ Irie and the Heat's official Banana Man.
The three have 24 hours to complete the Ice Bucket Challenge and help to bring awareness to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
