The physical nature of the Heat-Bulls second-round series -- which was on prominent display in Game 2 -- was evident again during Game 3 on Friday night in Chicago.
During the second quarter, Bulls center Nazr Mohammed planted a hard foul on Heat star LeBron James. James responded by pushing off Mohammed after being wrapped up.
Mohammed escalated events when, after picking himself up off the floor, he delivered a shove to James' chest, sending the NBA MVP sprawling to the ground.
James was given a technical foul for the altercation, and Mohammed was ejected, the third Bulls player to be sent off during the series, joining fellow big men Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah, who were ejected in Game 2.
