Video: Durant takes vicious fall vs. Heat

On Thursday night, Kevin Durant hit the hardwood possibly as hard as any player ever has in the history of the NBA.
Luckily, he was able to get up and walk away from the fall.
With 1:40 left in the first quarter in the Thunder's game against the Miami Heat, Durant went for an offensive rebound off a shot by Thunder center Nick Collison.
In mid-air, Durant lost his balance and fell awkwardly to the ground, crashing down on his left hip.
The sickening thud immediately had the sellout crowd at Chesapeake Arena gasping for air.
Play was stopped as Durant rolled around the lane in pain.
The crowd began to show their displeasure, aiming their frustrations at Heat center Chris Anderson, who they thought pushed Durant while he was in mid-air.
But, replays showed there was little contact between the two.
Durant was in obvious pain, but was able to stay in the game and finished with a game-high 40 points.
The Thunder would go on to lose to the Heat 110-100.
