CLEVELAND -- Cavaliers center/forward Anderson Varejao suffered a strained right shoulder in the second quarter of Sunday's 90-76 win over the Indiana Pacers.

He will be re-evaluated Monday, Cavs coach Mike Brown said after the game.

Varejao left the court for the locker room just before halftime and did not return, finishing with six points and six rebounds in 14 minutes. He has missed 15 games already this season with a variety of ailments, mostly a sore back.

The Cavs (30-45), still fighting for an Eastern Conference playoff berth, have been without star guard Kyrie Irving (biceps) for eight straight games. He is being evaluated daily and has said he hopes to return for the Cavs' next game, Wednesday at Orlando.
