UT QB Ash to miss game against Ole Miss

The Texas Longhorns will look to Case McCoy Saturday to try to put an end to a bad week.
According to Texas athletic trainer Kenny Boyd, starting quarterback David Ash will miss the game against Ole Miss with a head/right shoulder injury.
The junior was knocked out of last Saturday’s 40-21 loss to BYU in the fourth quarter and replaced by McCoy.
In two games for Texas, Ash has thrown six touchdowns with two interceptions.
McCoy, who lost the starting job to Ash before the 2012 season, has made seven starts for Texas. He’s played sparingly this season, completing 7 of 12 passes. For his career, he has 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
After losing to BYU last week, the Longhorns replaced defensive coordinator Manny Diaz with Greg Robinson.
