TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Kansas State defensive coordinator Chris Cosh has agreed to fill the same position at South Florida.
A veteran of 28 college seasons, Cosh's resume includes stops as an assistant at UNLV, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan State, South Carolina and Maryland. He spent the past three years in his second stint at Kansas State. He has been a defensive coordinator for more than half his career.
USF coach Skip Holtz announced the move on Thursday. He has worked with Cosh before, serving together with him on the staff at South Carolina.
Cosh replaces Mark Snyder, who left USF following last season's 5-7 finish to become defensive coordinator at Texas A&M.
