DETROIT -- Justin Verlander loves dogs. Apparently, so does his girlfriend, Kate Upton.
Upton tweeted an Instagram photo of herself with a cute puppy to Verlander, saying, "Pleaseeeee".
Verlander responded with an Instagram photo of his own.

The photo showed Verlander's dog, Riley, holding up his paw. "If anyone objects raise your hand! #RileyObjects #jealous #RileyWins"
Upton's Twitter response: "HAHAHA".
It wouldn't be surprising to see Riley getting a new friend soon, however.
