Uniform adjustments in store for the Cavaliers next season?

The premier sports uniform website Uni Watch revealed last week the uniforms that NBA teams will wear if they are scheduled to play on Christmas Day. The Adidas uniforms will feature a darker wine hue and white script lettering across the chest.

Special uniforms have become a trend for teams that play on Christmas, and the Cavaliers are very likely to be playing again next December 25th. The NBA likes to showcase its most popular players on the holiday, and LeBron James has played on Christmas Day every year since 2006. This past December, the Cavaliers played the Heat in Miami on Christmas and wore special uniforms featuring just the Cavs' alternate logo and player number on the front and a wide stripe containing player names under the number on the back.

Additionally, Sports Logos.net reports that the Cavaliers will be one of nine teams to use a Hardwood Classic uniform for a throwback look. The Cavaliers will reportedly bring back the "Miracle of Richfield" era uniforms which the team has previously worn for Hardwood Classic nights, including six times during the 2004-2005 season.
The Cavaliers will also feature a 'modified alternate road uniform', according to the report and a new "Pride" uniform that "can be more exploratory in design, and used to celebrate something local to that team or region". The "Pride" uniforms will feature a sleeved jersey and can be worn a maximum of six times in the season.
