Undercover cops wearing 49ers jerseys will attend Sunday's game in Seattle

By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com Since the 49ers and Seahawks made some splashy moves in free agency, analysts have tabbed this as the sexiest rivalry in football. Well, the most-anticipated game of the offseason will be played Sunday night. And it’s likely that rowdy fans will be good and hydrated as there is a long wait before kickoff. Instead of sitting back and trying to contain the situation, the Seahawks will be executing a plan of action. Undercover officers will wear opposing team jerseys at home games beginning Sunday to prevent some of the inappropriate behavior that occurs at NFL stadiums nationwide. “We have great fans,” Seahawks president Peter McLoughlin said in a team-issued release. “Our goal is to ensure a safe environment for all in attendance, including visiting team fans.” If a fan is kicked out of a Seahawks home game, they must complete a four-hour online course and pay a fee of $75 to return to the stadium, according to Pro Football Talk. Rule of thumb: A little trash talk in the nose bleeds in good fun is probably acceptable. Throwing trash on an opposing fan in the upper deck, then you'll have yourself a problem. Questions?
