UNC-Asheville's Rowsey to transfer to Marquette

Marquette is adding a transfer to its men's basketball program, as UNC-Asheville guard Andrew Rowsey announced his intentions to join the Golden Eagles via Twitter on Sunday afternoon.
The second-team All-Big South selection will sit out the 2015-16 season and will then have two years of eligibility remaining.
Rowsey, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound sophomore guard, averaged 19.2 points while shooting 39.4 percent from the field, 38.2 percent from beyond the arc and 92.1 percent from the line.
As a freshman during the 2013-14 season, Rowsey averaged 20.3 points per game, which made him the second-highest scoring freshman in the nation.
Marquette now has two remaining open scholarships.
