ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) -- The Oakland Raiders selected Arizona receiver Juron Criner with their second pick in the fifth round of the NFL draft Saturday.
The Raiders took Criner 168th overall, using a compensatory pick to take one of the Wildcats' all-time leading receivers.
Criner had 75 catches for 956 yards and 11 touchdowns last season for Arizona. He was a productive player at UA alongside quarterback Nick Foles, a third-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles, finishing his career with 209 catches and 31 touchdowns, although he lacks the top-end speed the Raiders usually target in receivers.
