Tuttipaesi wins $200,000 Santa Ana Stakes by a neck

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) Tuttipaesi split horses and shot through a gap two paths off the rail to win the Gade 2 $200,000 Santa Ana Stakes by a neck Saturday at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Chris DeCarlo for trainer Bill Mott, the 6-year-old Irish-bred Tuttipaesi ran 1 1/8 miles on the turf in 1:48.82 and paid $7.40, $3.60 and $2.80 in the race for older fillies and mares.
Tuttipaesi raced to her seventh victory in 17 starts. She earned $120,000 to increase her career total to $495,929.
Glory returned $3.60 and $3, and Fresh Feline paid $4.00 to show.
