David Jacobson matched the New York record for training victories in a year, sending out three winners Thursday at Aqueduct.
Jacobson has 159 wins for the season at Aqueduct, Belmont Park and Saratoga — tying the mark set by Gary Contessa in 2007. There are four racing days left for Jacobson to break the deadlock.
Moments Notiz, one of the Jacobson trio, took the $72,200 allowance feature with Chuckie Lopez aboard. The 5-year-old gelding posted his 11th win in 22 starts, beating even-money favorite Saturday's Charm by 1-1/4 lengths in the four-horse field.
The time was 1:10.91 for the six furlongs on the fast track.
