Top Braves prospects get spring invites

Four of the top-rated prospects in the Atlanta Braves system will be among the list of 21 minor leaguers invited to spring training.

Right-handed pitcher J.R. Graham, the team’s second-rated prospect by Baseball America, left-handers Sean Gilmartin (fourth) and Alex Wood (seventh) all earned invites, along with catcher Evan Gattis (eighth).

Also on the list include left-handed pitchers Ryan Butcher, Yohan Flande, Dustin Hughes and Daniel Rodriguez, righties Wirfin Obispo and Gus Schlosser, catchers Louis De La Cruz, Matt Kennelly, Matt Pagnozzi, Braeden Schlenhuber and Jose Yepez, infielders Nick Ahmed, Joe Leonard and Blake DeWitt and outfielders Todd Cunningham, Jordan Parraz and Joe Terdoslavich.

Pitchers and catchers will report to camp at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista on Feb. 11, with position players arriving Feb. 14. The first full workout will be held Feb. 15.
