Tony Stewart is donating his custom scooter to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation

One of the more memorable moments of the 2013 NASCAR season involved Tony Stewart and his scooter. Now, Stewart is donating the custom ride to help out a good cause.
Smoke is giving the scooter to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation - an organization dedicated to providing support for people with paralysis.
The foundation plans on selling it at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach collector car auction in April. They're including a few extra goodies as well, including a race-worn firesuit signed by Stewart and a trip for two to the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.
To make sure the scooter and prize package is a strong fundraiser for the Darrell Gwynn Foundation, Smoke will match the first $50,000 bid and donate it to the foundation.
"The scooter I used after my accident is top of the line, and it will serve someone very well," said Stewart. "I want it to go to a deserving person, but I also want it to help others. Auctioning it off at Barrett-Jackson, where all the money will go to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation, allows Darrell and his group to serve its mission by providing support for people living with paralysis."
