Tokoto to choose his college destination Thursday

J.P. Tokoto, a 6-foot-6 junior forward from Menomonee Falls (Wis.) High, will announce his college choice Thursday night. Tokoto is considered the top player in the Class of 2012 from the Badger state.
Tokoto will pick between his final eight schools, which are Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, Marquette, Maryland, North Carolina, UCLA and Wisconsin. However, he attended games at Wisconsin against then No. 1 Ohio State and last week versus Northwestern. He visited North Carolina two weeks and attended the Tar Heels' game against Boston College.
Tokoto is expected to pick between those two schools.
Tokoto is ranked No. 42 by Scout, No. 32 by ESPN and No. 40 by Rivals. He is an athletic wing player with a long wing span. He needs to get stronger, but has a chance to be a standout college player.
Tokoto is averaging 20.4 points per game for the Indians, who are 11-11. They face Waukesha South (14-8) in the first round of the playoffs Saturday at 1:30 pm.
