Browns defensive coordinator Ray Horton is leaving Cleveland to take on the same role with the Tennessee Titans, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

Horton, who was believed to be new Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt's top choice, was also Whisenhunt's defensive coordinator in Arizona in 2011 and 2012.

As one of the highest paid assistant coaches in the NFL, Horton worked under Rob Chudzinski as the Browns defensive coordinator for one season.
