MINNEAPOLIS -- After their final preseason game Friday, the Timberwolves waived two players, Mike Harris and Chris Johnson. Both were training camp invitees.

The roster now stands at 15 players, with point guard Will Conroy the only training camp invitee remaining. With Ricky Rubio out until January, retaining Conroy makes sense. He's played well this preseason and is a close friend and high school and college teammate of Brandon Roy's, in addition. He also has prior relationships with David Kahn and Rick Adelman, whom he played for in Houston.

Harris played in five preseason games, finishing with six points, seven rebounds, one assist and four steals in 30 total minutes. In three preseason games, Johnson had six points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 15 minutes.
