It appears the Thunder want to change the name of their Development League franchise.
The team moved from Tulsa to Oklahoma City this offseason and now, according to The Oklahoman, the team will change names from the 66ers to the Oklahoma City Blue.
Nothing has been finalized, The Oklahoman reported and Dan Mahoney, vice president of communications told the Oklahoman the team is not ready to announce anything yet.
