Thunder-Clippers Game 6 predictions

Thunder-Clippers Game 6 predictions

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 10:52 p.m. ET

The Thunder have played well and lost (Game 4) and played poorly and won (Game 5).

The predictions have been a lot more consistent.

All bad.

Let's keep it rolling. A few to think about for Game 6.

Serge Ibaka was great in the second half of Game 5. He'll be great in the first half of Game 6 and have double figure points as well as five or more rebounds.

He'll score 16 or more for the game.

So will J.J. Redick.

Kevin Durant will not go 8 minutes in the fourth quarter without taking a shot.

Durant will score 40-plus.

Russell Westbrook will not shoot better than 50 percent. Thabo Sefolosha will.

The Thunder will shoot 47 percent or better for the game.

Kendrick Perkins will have fewer than 2.5 points.

Much talk will center around the Doc Rivers' $25,000 fine.

This isn't a prediction, it's a fact: Tonight's 9:30 start won't happen again this season. That's a good thing, too.

Is this the game Caron Butler gets going? I say no. He's not a good fit for a series against an athletic team. Butler makes no more than one 3-pointer.

Chris Paul will have fewer than three turnovers. He had five in Game 5 and two in the last 17 seconds. He'll also come within two (rebounds, points, assists) from a triple-double.

No one will be called for a foul on a 3-pointer.

More crowd shots of Mrs. Sterling. Ugh.

More talk about Derek Fisher to the Knicks. Hmmm.

You'll say, "But he flopped," at least twice tonight and try and figure out in your mind how Miami could lose in the Eastern Finals.

Only Reggie Jackson, among the Thunder bench players, will score in double figures.

No chance DeAndre Jordan fouls out of this one. He'll have a double-double. So will Blake Griffin.

But Matt Barnes won't, despite doing it in Game 5.

Reggie Jackson will play more than 30 minutes and Derek Fisher will play less than 8.

Before the series started I said Thunder in five. I didn't miss by much. Thunder wrap it up tonight and you can start disliking Tim Duncan again.

Game 3 prediction record: 6-11-1
